Hello, dear readers! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here at Claiming the Promise, but I assure you we are all doing fine. My kids started back to school in the fall (first day of school picture below), and for two of my children, it was a difficult transition into new grades. I found myself in a place where I could not balance being a Mom and a Blogger evenly, and that was OK! Family always comes first! So I slowed down a little with blogging, and have been focusing on my kids. Not to worry though, I will be back in full force after the first of the year! I am excited about what the new year will bring for Claiming the Promise, and hope you will be back to visit me!
Because it is Thanksgiving this week, and the season of being thankful, I thought I would encourage everyone to revisit an article I had posted a year ago. My husband had just come out of the struggles of radiation and chemo treatments, and I was not feeling very thankful! I remember standing in the adult diaper isle of the grocery story, trying to decide what size my husband needed, and having a complete melt-down! I decided to write an article on what I had to be thankful for, and by the end of the article, I had a definite change of attitude! You can go right to that article, titled “He is Kind to the Unthankful” here, or by clicking on the picture below.
Claiming the Promises wishes you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving!
